This is my rendition of the Golden Gate in Jerusalem. Mixed media (modeling paste) gives texture to the wall. I used glitter medium to make the middle sparkle. I’ll be using gold leaf on the white part of the sealed gate.

It’s said that the Messiah will come through these gates so they were sealed to keep him away. And graves were put in front of the gates because a graveyard is “unclean” and would not be a place that a high Priest would be.

But nothing will stop the Messiah’s coming!
