Description
Psalm 61:2 painting by Juda Myers. Poppy field with big blue sky and then the cosmos. 12 w x 24 h”
Red poppies were once used to remember fallen soldiers. This painting has red poppies and can serve to remember our fallen world. But as we look up we are aware of the vast expanse of the universe first in the sky above us and then in the cosmos.
I created this painting as a reminder that the one who created the universe is longing for us to cry out to Him and recognize that nothing in this fallen world can satisfy.
This painting is called Psalm 61:2
From the ends of the earth, I call to You when I begin to lose heart. Lead me to the rock that is high above me.
